(1) Computational Contact Mechanics/Computational Mechanics
▶ Summary: This project aims to develop the theory and numerical implementation of computational contact mechanics/computational mechanics.
▶ Requirements: The candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree (with Ph.D. degree no longer than 3 years) in related areas such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering or mechanics. The candidate should be familiar with numerical method for PDE (Partial Differential Equation) such as Finite Element method, Boundary Element method and Finite difference method.
(2) Intelligent structural health monitoring sensors
▶ Summary: This project aims to develop smart sensors in structural health monitoring such as vibration sensors, strain sensors or image sensors.
▶ Requirements: The candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree (with Ph.D. degree no longer than 3 years) in related areas such as civil engineering, computer science or electronic engineering. The candidates who are familiar with C++, PCB design are preferred.
